Who we are
Reactive Analytics makes weekly fan plans for creators and agencies, and is based in Guernsey. We're responsible for the personal data described here. For anything about your data, email lennon.s@reactive-analytics.com.
The free tool
When you paste your statements or choose a file in the free tool, it's read and worked out by code running in your own browser. It isn't uploaded, sent to us or stored. When you close the tab it's gone.
The pilot
Each pilot creator gets a private page, opened with a personal access code. The engine only answers requests that carry a valid code. Each week the page sends your payment history to our engine to build your plan. That means, for each payment: the date and time, the amount you kept, what the fan paid and what it was for where your statements say, and who paid. It also sends your pilot settings: your start dates, daily message limit, currency and today's date. We use it only to give you the plan you asked for.
- The engine runs on Google Cloud, in its London region. It works out your plan in memory and sends it back to you. It doesn't save your statements to a database or to disk, and our code doesn't log them. Like any cloud service, Google keeps standard request logs, such as the time of each request and the IP address it came from.
- Your history is kept in your own browser, not by us, along with your access code, your pilot and message test start dates, what each payment was for where your statements say (such as a subscription or a tip), the currency of your statements and the one you choose to see amounts in, whether you can message former fans, your daily message limit, your latest plan, your choices on the social media tab (where your fans are and which clock to show), which fans you've ticked as messaged in recent weeks, when you last downloaded a backup, and, if your saved history is ever damaged, a copy of it so it can be recovered. You can download a backup file, restore it on another device, and clear it from the browser at any time.
- Your fans' usernames are only ever shown back to you. We don't contact your fans, sell anything about them, or combine them with any other data.
If you apply or email us
If you apply for the pilot using the form, you give us your name, email address, roughly how many paying fans you have, how much history you have, whether you're an agency, and anything you choose to add. Our website host, Netlify (based in the US), receives and stores your answers and emails them to our team. We use them only to reply to you and run the pilot.
We keep your applications and emails so we can reply and run the pilot with you, for as long as we're in touch and no more than two years after we last hear from you. Tell us if you want them deleted sooner and we'll delete them.
Other services the site uses
- Times on your clock. The social media tab on your pilot page shows posting times on your own clock. It reads the time zone your device is set to, inside your browser. It doesn't use your location, and nothing is sent anywhere to do this.
- Amounts in your currency. Our example figures are converted from pounds at fixed, approximate rates into the currency of where you are. The site works out where you are from your device's time zone and language settings, inside your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere to do this. Your own figures are shown in the currency of your statements, unless you choose another in the Currency box at the top of your pilot page; then they're converted at the same fixed, approximate rates.
- Card payments. If you pay for a plan, your payment is handled by our payment provider, which receives your card details and email address. We never see or store your card number. We keep a record of who has paid so we can give you access.
- Fonts. The site's fonts load from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address when they load.
- No tracking. The site sets no advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Like any website, our host keeps standard access logs.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email lennon.s@reactive-analytics.com and we'll reply within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to Guernsey's Office of the Data Protection Authority (odpa.gg), or to the data protection regulator where you live.
